ALL ITEMS MUST BE FRESHLY LAUNDERED BEFORE CONSIGNING.

After your initial first appointment, you may set up a date to drop off items if you agree to allow us to donate items not sales-floor worthy. No more than 20 items per appointment or drop. They will be donated to the charity of our choice. Keep in mind we do not guarantee the sale of any item! Please call ahead if you want to drop off items. Because of business volumes, we do not accept walk-in drop-offs, so please call first.

If you are not comfortable with donating, please call to set up an appointment. Please only bring seasonally appropriate items, as we do not have room to store items. If you are listing on E-Bay, Poshmark, etc., please DO NOT bring those items in to consign.

***Please call if you can not make it to your appointment!!!***

We do not purchase items outright. Please limit it to a maximum of 20 items per visit. Smaller items, such as jewelry, are not subject to this rule. Quality and appearance are important factors to the buyer: only current fashionable pieces in like-new condition sell. (No Wal-Mart, Target, Rue 21, Forever 21, Old Navy, Dress barn, Shein. Etc.) Please check to see what season we are currently taking. Items must be in “Ready for Sale” condition: Check your garments carefully for stains, holes, tears, missing buttons and hooks and fix what needs to be fixed. Shoes & boots must be clean and polished or we won’t take them. Sorry, we don’t consign items older than 2 years old, business suits, (unless they are Chanel, etc.) lingerie, pajamas, maternity, wedding dresses. We do consign all sizes. Items must be freshly laundered and pressed. No spots or pet hair. If it is dirty, it will be donated! We do not have time to wash your items. The better they look, the better they sell. No odors (moth balls, smoke!) Hang each garment on its own hanger or folder neatly in shopping bags.

NO TRASH BAGS

Please don’t be offended if we pass on some items.

The consignment period is 60 days from the day the article is priced and put on out on the sales floor. Items will be donated to charities within the area or disposed of otherwise without further notice. We do not call you before donating. There is no guarantee that items will sell. If you are too attached to your items, we recommend you do not consign them.

We set the selling price. Items are generally priced at 1/3 of retail based on condition. We reserve the right to reduce any item during the 60-day consignment period. We also reserve the right to donate any item found to be stained or otherwise un-sale worthy during the 60-day consignment period. You are responsible for checking your account balance and the status of your items. We do not call you. Please call if can’t make it to your appointment!

The consignor receives 40% of the selling price. We do not contact you; monies should be picked up within 6 months of credit. Failure to do so will result in monetary credit being voided. Checks are only mailed upon request. There is a fee of $2.50 to mail checks. You are responsible for any stop payment fees on lost or stolen checks.

Checks can only be picked up Wednesday thru Saturdays. If you want more than one check per month, there is a $5 fee for additional checks

Funky Trunk Boutique is not liable for loss by theft, fire, water, computer failure or acts of nature.
